Clarissa Carr broke out from her Trailer Park to College to a Successful Career on Your Career Cure Podcast with Gail Tolstoi-Miller

Clarissa Carr is from a small town in Indiana. Born to teen parents in the 80’s, Clarissa grew up in a trailer park while her parents worked multiple jobs. Never feeling like she was living a “normal” life, she retreated to books and TV to mold herself. Always a high achiever, Clarissa’s 5th grade teacher took notice of her intelligence and gradually became her mentor. She contributes much of her success to this mentorship. She has recently relocated from Charleston to Atlanta to work as a project manager.  I chose Clarissa as my first guest on Your Career Cure Podcast because she symbolizes the ability to take control of your destiny and not blaming your circumstance  or childhood to move ahead in a positive way in your life.

Happy career. Happy life.
